An Update

WEll yes, it”s been a while since I last posted, and it wasn’t because I fell off the wayside and got fat again.  In my last post I said I wasn’t feeling good, well I camr down with ‘flu like symptoms’  but it couldn’t be confirmed as Swine Flu ut I was off work for a week and pretty messed up.  during that week off though I had to contnue prepairing to move house, which was no fun, doing stuff for 10 minutes then recovering for 20.  I eventualy got it all done though. 

Now we have moved, settled in, got our selves back to some sort of normality I thought it’s time to post again.  I’ve not put on any weight, well not enough for me to worry about it.  the lowest I got to was 78Kg’s I think and now I’m hovering at 80/81 I’m happy with that considering it’s been christmas.

I’ll post again as and when I feel the need but it’ll not be as often as was.

Day 123

I bought a pack of peppered German Salami the other day last time I was shopping, so decided to break it open today, did a basic salad as usual with some cut up bit’s on it.  I also put some on the pizza I had for tea, which was only a dinky snack one so I had some oven chips with it.  I’ve only got a few days to empty the freezer.  Been feeling crap today, coughing, I thought it was just dust from clearing out the garage yesterday but now I’m not sure.

Day 122

Lunch was the usual ‘fish in a tin’ but I tried a different one today, was nice but not great, a change.  Tea, well, I got the packet of mince out of the freezer yesterday without a thought as to what I was going to do with it, and as it was I couldn’t think of anything.  I cooked it off with some onions and some gravy granules, threw it in a bowl and ate it with a garlic bread.  It wasn’t great but it filled the gap.

Day 121

Breakfast wasn’t A smoothie, it was two halves, I used the last of one container on just half a glass, so had another half a glass of a different flavour.  Tea was the same as last week, but done by a different takeaway so had a different name, chilli salt squid & prawns and a dry chow Mein.  Had a relaxing evening as I know I’m going to be busy this weekend.

Day 120

Lunch was rushed so it was a case of grab whatever I can stuff in my face.  Tea was 2 loin chops, grilled on top of a standard salad.  Had loads of fruit today, and no rubbish, a good day.

Day 119

Snacks, Clementine’s, Carrot’s & Dip

Yeh, yeh, I know lunch is the same again, but it’s easy.  The pizza was half ham & pineapple, and half Chorizo & red pepper.

Day 118

Snacks, Clementine’s, Smoothie, Carrots

Soup for lunch, spotted it in the cupboard and thought why not, it was nice, a couple of buttered pita’s to dunk in it was good.  Tea was just the tinned mackerel I’ve been having on a standard salad.  I’m slowly running out of things in the freezer which is good as I need to switch it off in about a week!

Day 117

Lunch was yesterdays left over sausages cut up over another basic salad, I’m getting bored with salad.  Tea, well I did say I was bored of salad, rummaging through the freezer I came over a vegetarian grill thingy, so sling that in the oven with some oven chips, easy and not salad!

Day 116

Tea, Sausage, Spicy Wedges & mini corn on the cob.
Snacks, Smoothie, chocolate pudding!, carrot

Yeh, lunch is the same as yesterday, but all the pickled onions have gone.  Tea must have been the most ‘normal’ tea I have had in ages.  The sausages were Tesco’s finest pork and chilli, they are great and there’s enough left for lunch tomorrow.  The chocolate pudding was a throw in the microwave for 2 minutes kind and was nice to have as an indulgence.  I’ve been mooching about the house today doing the little jobs that need doing, if I keep ticking along I should be ready for the pack & move out dates.

Day 115

A busy day packing up the house today, well starting to at least.  The movers will do most of it but I need to do all the little bit’s.  Food wise, nothing I haven’t had before more than once, it’s the weekend so picking more than I do through the week but at least it’s the right stuff.
